The sight of a blimp in the summertime leaves me awash in fond memories of beautiful Seattle summer days when the Goodyear blimp appeared magically overhead and patiently drifted across the textureless blue sky. Did the mad men who conceived this predict that lasting neural pathways would be forged in the brains of young observers? With rapidly changing sponsorships, today’s youth likely won’t recollect 40 years hence the company associated with the stadium or race car, much less the derigible soaring above them. It may say DIRECTV, but it will always be the Goodyear blimp to me.
I edited with Snapseed and Juxtaposer. I did see this blimp today, but not in this location.
