I balked when Delaney wanted to take a picture of the sun through the car window with my phone. But I think this is pretty neat. When in doubt, just take the picture.
One great thing about this city is that when it becomes unpredictably sunny and clear, you can drive five minutes to a park with trails and forest that make you feel five hours away.
That tree was no help at all.
Until this point in time, we had been skiing all morning in a fog, which obscured our vision beyond 20 feet. I now know what freezing fog is. And thanks to this brief clearing, I also know to look forward to next weekend, when we may be granted better access to these views.
We bowled today to celebrate Delaney’s friend’s birthday. Some of us used bumpers. Some of could have used bumpers.
