Our city took ownership of the facility from the U.S. Olympic Committee this past January. It was a lot for the USOC to maintain with private funding. Presumably the city will have be able to generate or access more funds for its upkeep.
Olympic and Para-Olympic athletes from the U.S. and other countries will still train there, as well as other elite athletes, like archers, runners, soccer players, rowers, and BMX bikers. Good will rolls on.
