What’s going on here?

My name is Sara. My father, Roger Hagan, filmmaker, writer, photographer, reader, audiophile (of music and people), foodie and observer began several years ago sending daily photos via email to a select recipient list.  He called it the Photo of the Day (POD) – then PODWIFLI (When I Feel Like It).

Each one was titled, often provoking consideration of his vision. They came from his extensive lifetime library of photographs, his contemporary travels, and most recently his daily “constitutionals.” After his 801st emailed photo, approaching a vacation in Mexico, he announced he would be taking a break from the PODs.  I decided to take up the endeavor, inspired by his mindful awareness and ability to find interest in both the obvious and the unnoticed.  Please share these as you see fit.  They have been, and will be, taken and edited on my iPhone.

  1. HI Sara,

I am looking at your blog! The kids are excited about it. Thanks for sharing.

    Your favorite sister-in-law!

    1. I’m so glad they are enjoying it! If they or you take a picture with your phone that you/they think is POD worth, please send it to me and I’ll post it on the blog. Thanks!

      1. The kids ask me every day if the picture of the day has been sent. 🙂 Jack’s mind is whirling with idea.

      1. Yes, the trees are similar to NH, but the mountains aren’t as big, rocky, or frankly, impressive. And I hate to tell you, I’m seeing some green on some trees!

  2. Hey there! I love your site and excited that it is iPhoneograpy. Great stuff! I will have to catch up!
