Someday, this might work.
Watching the ALCS with a smattering of college football. And occasional treats.
Las Vegas…Tom Petty…this is the only solace I can offer.

This is an occasional highlight of the morning walk if we time it right: middle schoolers. He wants to linger until the last one boards the bus. I wonder if this correlates to how the teachers feel at the other end of the ride.
I had lunch with a couple friends today. We ate on a rooftop veranda at one of their homes, which is on base on North Island. Her dogs didn’t beg, but they sacked out nearby.
I doubled up on avocado deviled eggs, sashimi crackers and toasts with tomatillo salsa.
The dogs had none of it.
We are dog sitting. I was excited for Kimbo, knowing he was going to have a friend here for the weekend. But unless one of them is eating, the dogs barely acknowledge each other. Kimbo is lazy, and doesn’t really do much when it comes right down to it. I get the feeling we’re boring our guest. What do you think?
